St. Francis Xavier Action Youth Center (AYC) is a non-profit, non-sectarian program. AYC offers a safe, nurturing, supervised environment for youth and provides them with a foundation that supports their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.

We sponsor several programs that imbue youth with skills that support their development, including an after school center with a comprehensive academic resource component, two leadership programs, an anti-violence and conflict resolution module, and a host of recreational and creative arts activities.

AYC has been recognized for its work with youth by different organizations including
